Consider Myrtle Point Golf Club for your special day. We have a terrific new ceremony site as well as a beautiful golf course, both of which make for terrific photos. Our comfortable and nicely decorated clubhouse sports amazing views in all directions and is home to the Orca Bistro. Myrtle Point is Powell River’s premiere wedding venue.



With the Myrtle Rocks for your backdrop, our new site is ideal for hosting your very own beautiful wedding event. The ceremony site can seat upwards of three hundreds guests who will witness the bride and groom being joined in holy matrimony. The Georgia Strait, Texada Island and the peaks of Vancouver Island’s magnificent mountains will make an exceptional photo opportunity.

Our clubhouse shares the same fantastic view on one side of the building while looking out on our beautiful Les Furber design golf course from the other. Inside we are able to seat one hundred and fifty guests and weather permitting another fifty on our two decks that bookend the clubhouse. The golf course is a natural choice for getting some of those gorgeous photos of the happy couple.



The Orca Bistro, headed by our very own chef and general manager, Tracy Brandsma, will make your dining experience one that will have your guests talking  for months after your special day.  With many years in the hospitality and catering business, Tracy will ensure every detail is done to perfection.  Tracy will sit down with you to discuss a menu that will make your special occasion an elegant and memorable event.  No need to hire a wedding planner Tracy will guide you every step of the way from start to finish.


At Myrtle Point Golf Club, we are here to ensure that the bride, the groom, their friends and families have a memorable day and that it runs as seamlessly as possible. We are committed to doing all that we can in order to customize our resources to fit your idea of the perfect wedding. When needed, the ceremony site or the banquet facility is available for rental on its own. Also, we are more than happy to work with any dietary restrictions or allergies that you or any of your guests may have.
