Terms And Conditions
PAYMENT
Full payment of your minimum guaranteed number for golf and banquet is required one week prior to the event.
Additional dinner guest may be added up to 48 hours in advance.
Your final invoice will reflect your minimum guaranteed attendance numbers for the banquet or actual numbers whichever is greater.
There are no refunds or rain checks.
A $15 service fee will be added to all NSF cheques.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE AT MYRTLE POINT GOLF CLUB
In accordance with the Health and Liquor Regulations, all food and beverage must be purchased at MYRTLE POINT GOLF CLUB.
Groups are not allowed to provide their own food and beverage. All on course food and beverage promotions must be approved by the food and beverage manager, and may be subject to additional charges. Due to Health and Liquor Regulations leftover food or beverage may not leave the property after an event.
As our clubhouse and grounds are all licensed areas all alcohol beverages consumed on the grounds of the Myrtle Point Golf Club must be purchased through our venues. Absolutely no outside alcoholic beverages may be brought onto the property as per the Liquor Control and Licensing Branch. No storage coolers will be allowed on the golf carts. All beverage carts will be operated by MPGC staff.
Taxes: Good and Service Tax applies to all food, beverage, and gratuities. 10% Provincial Liquor Tax applies to all alcoholic beverages.
Gratuities: The Myrtle Point Golf Club will add a 17% Gratuity (service charge) to all food and hosted beverage served at the function.
ON COURSE SIGNAGE
Myrtle Point will provide set up on course competition markers (eg. Closest to the Pin, Long Drive etc)
Hole Sponsorship signs must be received in the Golf Shop at least 5 hour prior to tee off
Only Myrtle Point staff will be allowed to place signs or markings on the golf course
Specific Instructions for placement must be included
All sponsorship signs must be free standing as they cannot be nailed to our property
Myrtle Point Golf Club may in its sole discretion refuse to place any sign, which it deems not to comply with Myrtle Point Golf Club's standards.
Myrtle Point will not be responsible for any signs or banners.
At the end of your event, please remember to take all your signage.
SHOTGUN TOURNAMENTS
Shotgun bookings will require a minimum of 100 players
All shotgun starts will be scheduled for 1:15pm unless alternative arrangements are confirmed in writing by Myrtle Point Golf Club
Players should be ready to head out to their starting hole 15 minutes prior to the shotgun
INCLEMENT WEATHER
Tournaments will play as scheduled unless the Course Superintendent of the Myrtle Point Golf Club determines the course to be unplayable, or unsafe. (ie lightning)
POWER CARTS
Myrtle Point has 30 power carts that can be reserved on a first come first served basis.
Power carts must be reserved through the Golf Shop
GENERAL RULES
Play will be foursome unless alternative arrangements have been made through the ProShop
Each player will require his or her own set of clubs. Rentals are available.
The Host of the tournament is required to communicate the rules and regulations of Myrtle Point Golf Club to all Tournament participants prior to the tournament commencing.
The Host is responsible for the conduct of all Tournament participants.
